Causes for Caring
A separate corporation from the bank itself, the Security State Bank Foundation is directed by a board of employees of Security State Bank and was formed in 1996 to assist non-profit, 501(c)(3) organizations with their financial needs.
The sole source of funding for the Foundation is through the profits of Security State Bank. The Foundation grants are separate from the bank’s donation funds. The goal is to be able to assist non-profit groups from the interest income generated from investments made by the Foundation.
Priorities have often included youth, elderly, community and low-income families, including $1,000 scholarships to local graduating seniors.
The Security State Bank Foundation has donated more than $325,000 to community organizations since its inception.
